Set aside regular time to chase the late payers start with the
largest and oldest debt first

Also find out if customer has not brought from you in the last 6
months

Attempt to resolve quires and disputes as soon as possible 

If the customer is struggling with payment offer instalment
payment plan

TIME
Time is important in aspects of business. Time is crucial in credit control – How?

1.    Ensuring that you are chasing your clients/customers quickly actively and within 7 days the invoice is overdue.

2.    Ensure that you follow up all the telephone calls when payment is promised but not forth coming .  

3.    The quicker you act the easier it is  to resolve disputes and save money on taking legal action

Time is crucial. Being proactive and acting in a timely manner saves  money and gets you paid.
